Sidekic works on the workbook you have open on your computer. This page says exactly what leaves your computer, what Sidekic keeps, and for how long.

Who we are

Sidekic is made by [legal name and address of the seller]. Contact: support@sidekic.app.

What leaves your computer

• For each request: what you typed or the skill you chose, and the values from the table that the request needs (for example the column names and the rows being cleaned or totalled). They go through Sidekic's service to the AI model provider that answers the request, for that request only.
• Your account: the email address and the sign-in method (Apple, Google or email) you sign in with.
• Usage counts: how many requests and model turns you used this month, and the number of tokens they took, to apply the plan's limits.

Sidekic never sends your files, other sheets, your other apps or anything you haven't asked it to work on. The AI model can only use Sidekic's skills; it has no access to your files, your other apps or the internet.

What Sidekic keeps

• Your account (email, sign-in method, plan, trial and subscription dates) while you have one.
• Monthly usage counts, kept [retention period].
• Payment records: the provider, order and subscription numbers, the period and the amount. Card details are handled by Lemon Squeezy or Payme and never reach Sidekic.

Sidekic's service does not store your requests or your table's values. The AI model provider receives them to answer the request; [the provider's retention terms, e.g. "they are not used for training and are deleted within 30 days"].

On your computer

Sidekic keeps a log file on your computer (in your user's Logs folder) with its own messages: versions, step names, timings, error lines and the workbook, sheet and range names. Never your cell contents or what you typed. It stays on your computer unless you attach it to a mail to us.

Who else is involved

• Amazon Web Services: hosts Sidekic's service and your account (sign-in through Amazon Cognito).
• The AI model provider: [name].
• Lemon Squeezy (card payments, as the merchant of record) and Payme (payments in Uzbekistan).
• Apple and Google, if you sign in with them.

Your choices

You can ask for a copy of your account data or for your account to be deleted by writing to support@sidekic.app. Signing out in Sidekic removes the sign-in from your computer.

Changes

When this page changes, the date at the top changes too; important changes are announced in the app.
